A BIT ABOUT DAN
Key information
His favourite movie, most of the time, is Raiders of the Lost Ark (but this can change depending on his mood).
His physical being is 90% coffee.
He can pretty much quote the entirety of Hot Fuzz.
If you talk to him about rugby, movies, or superheroes, you may struggle to shut him up.
He believes Guinness is the greatest thing ever created.
He considers his spirit animal to be Ron Swanson from Parks and Rec.
He is also extremely hard-working and diligent, as he wants everything he produces to exceed expectations.
“IF IT CAN BE THOUGHT OR WRITTEN, IT CAN BE FILMED.”
In all honesty, that quote is stolen from the almighty Stanley Kubrick. But that doesn’t make it any less true! I’ve been obsessed with films and filmmaking since I can remember. Yet for some reason, I decided to study law at university and the only thing I learnt, was something I already knew.
Filmmaking, is a lot more fun than writing contracts!
After this revelation, I didn’t really look back. I got my hands on a decent camera, a few lenses, and off I went to start a career doing something that I absolutely love.
Put simply, there is nowhere I feel more at home than behind a camera, as everything just seems to make more sense through a lens.
That’s why I founded Peak Picture Productions. And since starting my journey I’ve been lucky enough to work on a number of amazing projects, each with its own unique story.
I’ve been on several shoots for Volkswagen, worked on nationally aired adverts, and with the likes of Tom Kerridge, Rag’ Bone Man and Raymond Blanc. I’ve filmed fantastic live events for Twickenham Stadium, The Pub In The Park Festival, and Henley Regatta. Recently, I have also worked with a number of globally recognised brands like Manchester City, Sodexo, The International Olympic Committee and The RFU (being a massive rugby fan, that was quite a surreal moment).
